The day was clear and warm, perfect for a June wedding at the Simpson House in Kansas City. Close friends and family gathered under the open arms of an old but graceful tree to watch Rachel and Matt marry. It was an intimate and joyful wedding, beautiful in all of its subtleties. Rachel, an artist by trade, put her good taste into all of the details: handfuls of purple petals replaced the traditional wedding rice, each wedding favor came in its own prettily wrapped box, and Rachel even hand-made each of the lovely vase centerpieces. The guests were charming and kind and the bride and groom were utterly in love. Needless to say, we had a great time shooting.
